Be part of the creation of ceramic pieces that capture the essence of Holy Island and the coast! 10am - 12:30pm, The Education Room, Berwick Museum and Art Gallery.

As part of our Fragments Creative Arts project, join ceramicist and ancient pottery technology specialist Graham Taylor for a clay workshop to work up the form of ceramic vessels that will be displayed in Berwick Museum and Art Gallery in 2018.

The aim of this ceramics project is to celebrate the rich cultural and natural heritage of our area through a series of large ceramic sculptural pieces. Each piece will incorporate aspects of the landscape, its history, wildlife and people.

10am - 12:30pm, The Education Room, Berwick Musuem and Art Gallery

Get creative and have fun at this practical workshop! No previous experience necessary, suitable for all, and FREE!

What to bring?

Inspire us! For inspiration and to gather source material, Graham would love to hear why Holy Island and the coast is so special to you. So please do bring along any items, objects, images or stories that you feel have an affinity or a connection with the landscape.
