Call to action to fill the ruts and potholes on the lane on Mustard Close on Holy Island. 11.30am to 2.00pm.

Come help the Peregrini team fill the ruts and potholes along the length of the little lane that leads down to the foreshore opposite St Cuthbert's Isle from St Mary's Church, Holy Island. Used primarily by pedestrians, the lane is popular with visitors and Islanders alike, but also provides disabled access to the rear of the Priory that is maintained by English Heritage.

The surface of the lane is looking a little bit worse for wear and we've already laid 1.5 tonnes of aggregate. Now we're completing the job and laying an additional 5 tonnes. Tools are provided, just bring your armpower!

To let us know your coming so I can work out how many shovels, how many biscuits etc., please email David.

The Peregrini Lindisfarne Landscape Partnership Scheme is managed by a Partnership of professional and community representatives from Holy Island and surrounding shore side area. The lead organisation for the Scheme is the Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) Partnership, hosted by Northumberland County Council.
