Join Andrew Craggs (Senior Reserve Manager) and Anna Turnbull (Willow Sculptor) on a summer evening's walk to see the Peregrini willow sculptures in their natural habitat. 6pm to 7.30pm, Monday 31st July.

Andrew and Anna will be leading a guided walk around Natural England's Nature Trail, taking a look at the recently-installed willow sculptures made by Anna and Peregrini volunteers.

The sculptures include four Brent Geese in flight, an Eider Creche and a huge Lindisfarne Helleborine. Subjects for the sculptures were chosen in discussion with staff from the Lindisfarne National Nature Reserve and have been made during six sessions between January and June. The Nature Trail loops to the north of Holy Island village and takes in a variety of habitats found on the Island.

The guided walk will take approximately one and and half hours. The Nature Trail largely follows an established track but is rough underfoot in places.

To book your place, please email Sarah - sarah.winlow@northumberland.gov.uk . Places are limited to 20 maximum.

The Peregrini Lindisfarne Landscape Partnership Scheme is managed by a Partnership of professional and community representatives from Holy Island and surrounding shore side area. The lead organisation for the Scheme is the Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) Partnership, hosted by Northumberland County Council.
