Come and join us for a great weekend packed full of music, exhibitions, arts, heritage demonstrations and much more...

This year Peregrini Lindisfarne is joining forces with the Holy Island Festival for a fun packed weekend of music, circus performances and heritage festivities.

The first Peregrini Lindisfarne Heritage Festival will showcase the landscape partnership and activities include;

  • Peregrini Lindisfarne information stand
  • pottery firing
  • wool preparation/spinning
  • spoon whittling
  • viking jewellery making
  • medieval herbalism  
  • walks and talks
  • arts workshop by Infinite Arts
  • landscape photography and social archive exhibitions
  • face painter

A number of musical and dance performances, including The Lindisfarne Story and the Unthanks, and the return of the circus in the Magpie Big Top will take centre stage during the course of the Holy Island Festival which runs from Friday 24th - Sunday 26th. Along with Peregrini Lindisfarne activities there will be plenty for families, young people and adults to get involved in!

The Peregrini Lindisfarne Landscape Partnership Scheme is managed by a Partnership of professional and community representatives from Holy Island and surrounding shore side area. The lead organisation for the Scheme is the Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) Partnership, hosted by Northumberland County Council.
