Our first ever volunteer engagement conference took place on Saturday 12th March and was a great success. Over 30 people attended the event, registering their interest in a number of Peregrini projects.

Proving most popular were our community geology, archaeology and social archive projects with our contractors presenting the type of volunteer opportunities.

Peregrini partners also attended with Natural England providing informaiton on our Shorebird Nesting project.

The Peregrini Lindisfarne Landscape Partnership Scheme is managed by a Partnership of professional and community representatives from Holy Island and surrounding shore side area. The lead organisation for the Scheme is the Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) Partnership, hosted by Northumberland County Council.
